Boulder Family Mediation Alliance is a group of mediators specializing in issues surrounding divorce. We have many years of experience in mediation. We formed the Alliance in July 2005, specifically to address the need for affordable family mediation services in Boulder County.

Tom Bache-Wiig, Connection Partners, Inc.
B.S. degree in business management. A professional member of the Colorado Council of Mediators. 12 years mediation experience. His company Connection Partners Inc. mediates divorce, employment, business and community conflicts.Teaches Non-Adversarial Communication. Mediation coach for CDR and other organizations.

 

Gina M. Bata
J.D. from the Univeristy of Colorado Law School, 2006; B.A. in Government from Harvard University, 2001. Trained as a mediator and restorative justice facilitator. Mediation and facilitation experience with the City of Boulder’s Community Mediation Service and Children, Youth, and Families programs, and the University of Colorado’s Restorative Justice Program. Member of the Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Council of Mediators and Mediation Organizations (CCMO).

 

 

 

Arlene Brownell, Connection Partners, Inc.
Ph.D. in Social Ecology, MA in Clinical and Community Psychology. Member and professional mediator, Colorado Council of Mediators. Mediator since 1999. Experienced in divorce, post-divorce, and family mediation; Collaborative Divorce Coach with Boulder Collaborative Divorce Professionals. Teaches Non-Adversarial Communication. Mediation coach for CDR and other organizations.

Christine Fleetwood J.D.
University of Baltimore School of Law. Institute of Advanced Dispute Resolution (IADR) certified mediator in Divorce and Child Custody Mediation. Member of Boulder Interdisciplinary Committee. Former Family Court Facilitator for the Boulder Combined Courts. Approved Child & Family Investigator. Speaks, reads, writes Spanish fluently.

Jeff Jones

Terry Kiernan, Confidential Mediation 
B.B.A. in Accountancy. Served as a Hospital Chief Financial Officer for 18 years. Mediation practice in divorce, elder care, probate, health care and business conflicts. Serves in Boulder, Broomfield, Jefferson, Denver, and
Gilpin county courts. Jefferson County Mediation Service Community Mediator of the Year Award for 2006.

Jamie Lau
Jamie Lau is a regionally recognized mediator, conflict resolution and restorative justice trainer, mediator coach and communication specialist. She’s the owner of Effective Communication Consulting, LLC which provides mediation for families, divorcing couples, parents and teens, seniors, and employee disputes in schools and in the work place.

Christopher Sarson
M.A. in Law and Music. Mediation training with CDR Associates and Community Mediation Services (CMS), City of Boulder, 2002. Mediation experience in divorce, post-divorce, family, and parent-teen mediation with CMS and the City of Boulder’s Children, Youth & Families Division.
